
This baby grey squirrel froze on the log as I passed it today, allowing me a sharp photograph of it. Normally they move fast, especially those not used to humans in the wood.

Sometimes they lie low, hoping not to be seen, like this one below.

Grey squirrels found in city parks are much tamer and like to entertain. They might even hold a pose for you!



Wherever you happen to see them squirrels are always a delight! The other evening I saw one with handfuls of food. Or is it a gold nugget that this one is holding – there’s gold in these there trees…
