This blog is to share my experiences of wildlife encounters whilst going out and about with my camera.
I am fortunate to have had my interest in nature kindled by my Mum who was a keen birdwatcher. I also have sharp eyesight due to great contact lenses and was gifted a 600mm zoom lens, nicknamed the FBL (“Flipping Big Lens”). I’ve been trying to improve my photography skills and am now off the automatic mode!! I live in a beautiful part of the countryside in the lee of the Campsie Fells North of Glasgow. I get out into nature whenever I can at it seems that the more I look the more I see. I hope you enjoy looking at my pictures and reading about my wonderful wildlife encounters.
